Terms of Service

These terms set out the agreement between you and Poppy AI. Please read them before using the site — they cover eligibility, acceptable behaviour, billing and the limits of what this service is.

1. Acceptance of these termsBy using poppy-ai.com you agree to these terms in full. If any part is unacceptable to you, please stop using the site.
2. Adults onlyAccess is restricted to people aged 18 or over. By continuing you confirm you meet that requirement and that adult content is lawful where you live.
3. Nature of the servicePoppy AI publishes fictional companion characters and conversation features. Every character, portrait and biography is invented for entertainment purposes.
4. No real personsNo profile on this site represents a real individual. Any resemblance to an actual person is unintended and coincidental.
5. Not adviceConversations on Poppy AI are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and must never replace a qualified professional.
6. Emergency situationsThe service is not an emergency or crisis line. If you are in danger or in crisis, contact your local emergency number or a recognised support organisation.
7. Account registrationSome features require an account. You agree to give accurate information and to keep your registration details current.
8. Account securityYou are responsible for your password and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any suspected unauthorised access.
9. One account per personAccounts are personal. Sharing, reselling or transferring an account is not permitted.
10. Acceptable useYou may not use the site to harass others, publish unlawful material, impersonate anyone or attempt to extract data at scale.
11. Prohibited contentAny attempt to steer a conversation toward minors, non-consensual scenarios, real identifiable individuals or illegal activity results in immediate termination.
12. No automated accessScraping, crawling for reuse, framing our pages or accessing the service through unauthorised software is prohibited.
13. Security testingProbing, load-testing or interfering with our infrastructure without written permission is not allowed.
14. Intellectual propertyThe Poppy AI name, site design, written material, code and character portraits are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by law.
15. Limited licence to youWe grant a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to view the site for private, non-commercial use.
16. Restrictions on reuseCopying, republishing, redistributing or training other systems on our material without written permission is prohibited.
17. Your submissionsContent you send us keeps its ownership, but you grant us the licence needed to operate, store and deliver the service.
18. FeedbackSuggestions you send voluntarily may be used to improve the product without obligation or compensation.
19. Paid tiersPrices, inclusions and limits for paid tiers are displayed before purchase. Taxes may be added according to your billing location.
20. Billing and renewalSubscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Cancellation stops the next renewal and keeps access until the paid period ends.
21. RefundsExcept where local consumer law requires otherwise, fees for periods already served are non-refundable. Billing errors are corrected on request.
22. Free featuresFree access may be limited, changed or withdrawn without notice, and no free feature is guaranteed to remain available.
23. Third-party servicesPayment, hosting and email partners have their own terms. We are not liable for how independent providers operate.
24. Outbound linksLinks to other websites are provided for convenience only and do not imply endorsement of their content or practices.
25. AvailabilityWe aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and outages can occur.
26. Changes to the serviceCharacters, features and pages may be added, altered or retired as the product develops.
27. Suspension and terminationWe may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, harms other members or exposes us to legal risk.
28. Disclaimer of warrantiesThe site is provided on an as-is and as-available basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
29. Limitation of liabilityTo the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of the site.
30. IndemnityYou agree to cover claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the site or breach of these terms.
31. Governing lawThese terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
32. Dispute resolutionPlease contact support first so we can try to resolve the matter informally before any formal proceedings begin.
33. Severability and waiverIf a provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it.
34. Updates to these termsRevised terms are published on this page with a new revision date. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
